Get paid on Ethereum without showing your wallet.

Shroud gives every payment its own address: one that has never been used and can’t be traced back to you. No mixer, no pool. Built on the EIP-5564 stealth address standard.

Share your address once, and anyone can read your statement.

A name is a window

Tie an ENS name to a wallet and your income, savings and every payment become public record.

Mixers don’t fit daily life

Pools are costly, awkward for a salary or a donation, and under constant regulatory pressure.

Companies can’t pay quietly

Paying staff or suppliers on-chain publishes the treasury and the full list of who gets what.

One new address for every payment.

  1. Bob shares one public code

He signs a message with his usual wallet and gets a code he can post anywhere, or attach to his ENS name.

  2. Alice pays a fresh address

Her browser combines Bob’s code with a one-time secret and gets an address that has never appeared on-chain.

  3. The chain records a stranger

Explorers show a transfer to a random address. Nothing on it points to Bob, his name or his other funds.

  4. Bob finds it and withdraws

Shroud scans new payments in the background and tells him when one is his. He withdraws without holding any ETH for gas.

Try it. Send Bob something.

Each payment lands on a different address. Switch views to see what the public can tell, and what Bob can.

Creating keys…

Real secp256k1 math, running in this tab. The keys are made for this demo and thrown away when you leave.

0 payments to 0 addresses that have never been used. None of them mention bob.eth.

    Made for ordinary payments.

Paying someone should feel like handing them an envelope. They know what’s inside. Nobody else needs to.

    • Salaries. Get paid without telling coworkers what you earn.
    • Invoices. Bill a client without showing them your other clients.
    • Donations. Support a cause without tying it to your name.
    • ETH, tokens and NFTs. Anything you can send to an address.

    Run payroll without publishing it.

Pay a whole team from the company treasury. Each person receives at an address only they can link to themselves, so the payroll never doubles as a public staff list.

    What’s underneath.

    ShroudRegistry
A directory that links an ENS name to a public code, so senders can type bob.eth instead of a long key. Registering is optional.
    ShroudAnnouncer
A single contract that never holds funds. It emits one event per payment, which recipients scan to find theirs.Announcement(uint256 schemeId, address stealthAddress, bytes ephemeralPubKey, bytes metadata)
    Shroud SDK
A TypeScript library built on noble secp256k1. It creates keys, derives addresses and scans announcements. Private keys never leave your browser.
    Gasless withdrawals
A fresh address holding USDC has no ETH to pay for gas. With ERC-4337, a relayer pays it and takes a small fee from the tokens you withdraw.
